"Dear Lee, thank you for standing up for women, when none of the women did."

29 Sept 2023 The other evening in the land of ‘What the Heck is Going on Here?’ – i.e. the land called New Zealand in the old language, when people knew (mostly) what the heck was going on – TVNZ aired a programme called ‘ Young Voters Debate ’. There is a general election due to be held in this land on 14 th October, and these sorts of programmes start hitting our screens as the big day gets closer. I’m guessing that, as per its name, this programme is geared towards the issues that young voters are deemed to be more interested in, but, full confession, I only watched part of the video below. There were no ‘crusties’ on this panel to answer the questions important to young voters, only the young and young-ish political party candidates made the cut, as would be expected. Between 6.00 and 9.00 in the video in the link at the bottom, the question was asked about men who identify as women being in women's spaces and sports. Four out of the five women on the panel said "wah, ...

New Zealand women’s sports gets a timely Christmas present.

Image
I’m sure it wasn’t meant to be in the nature of a gift, but when New Zealand’s mainstream media reported on our new coalition government’s policy to restrict public funding to sporting bodies who can’t – or rather, pretend they can’t – tell the difference between females and males, it came right in time for some Christmas cheer. True to form, of course, instead of our MSM celebrating the protection of female sports, they made it all about being a tragedy for “transgender athletes”. Transgender athletes banned from all publicly funded women’s sport under new Government policy (msn.com) Try as they might, though, the good news can’t be disguised. Naturally, there was a dearth of female athletes interviewed in any MSM articles or opinions about the government’s policy to protect women’s sports. Even the trans-tamed ones, who declare they’re fine with men in women’s sports, seemed to be absent. However, Anton Weatherly, a mediocre male downhill mountain bike competitor, who now goes b...

Four ol' terfs walk into a bar ....

Four ol’ terfs walk into a bar …… Sounds like the beginning of a joke, eh? Well, although what happened after that isn’t a joke in the real sense of the word, it’s still as funny as feck. In truth, it wasn’t a bar we walked into, but a vegan pizzeria and pasteria called Nolita in central woke-Wellington. In hindsight - wonderful thing that it is - the restaurant being vegan was kind of a massive clue that things weren’t going to go well when one of our terf quartet forgot to remove the small sticker on her t-shirt which read “Transwomen are men, and most have a penis”. On Sunday 26 March this year (2023), my two sisters and I, and a friend, had planned to attend the Let Women Speak rally in Wellington. But after the horrific events at the previous day’s rally in Auckland, the rally in Wellington was cancelled due to credible fears for the attendees’ safety from trans activists if it went ahead. However, we made the decision to still go to Wellington as we already had our aeropla...

Trans activists make women terrified for their safety at the Let Women Speak rally in New Zealand.

Today [25 March 2023] in Auckland, New Zealand, we experienced mob violence that was New York level. I never thought I’d see that here in New Zealand, but today I did. Kellie-Jay Keen of Standing for Women UK has been touring Australia and New Zealand with her  ‘Let Women Speak’  rallies. She encountered some fierce mob intimidation from trans activists in Australia during her rallies, but I really didn’t think that level of abuse and violence would get surpassed in New Zealand. How wrong was I. The only way to describe the trans activist mob at Auckland today is feral. Kellie-Jay Keen had to get escorted out of the rally after only being there a brief time due to fears for her safety, and the rally was abandoned. Caitlin was there, and this is her story below. Like many of us she is very, very angry, and like many of us she is also ready for it to be known. “I am finally home and sitting down with shaking hands to detail what happened today – Saturday 25 March – at Alb...

After the shocking exposé about puberty blocker usage in New Zealand, the mainstream media is silent.

Our mainstream media in New Zealand ain’t what it used to be. Once, crusty ol’ journos were the foundation of mainstream news media, as they fearlessly ferreted out the facts of a matter, and didn’t mind fighting a round or two with editors to get them published. It was no place for the thin-skinned, and junior journos learned the news trade at the sides of their trade-toughened elders. Unlike now, where junior staff raise a personal grievance complaint at the slightest harsh word from colleagues, editors quail at the thought of a fight, and crusty ol’ journos with experience and a bit of derring-do are considered dangerous. Toothless, ‘progressively correct’ stories are now the mainstay of the mainstream media, with the odd gritty piece raising gasps of surprise at the audacity of the editor to pass it for publication.   Welcome to what the world of woke has wrought upon the mainstream news industry, where safeness is sought after like the (illusory) gold at the end of ...

NZ's Human Rights Commission is going to undergo some changes "in terms of the personnel".

It was not hard to concur wholeheartedly with MP Todd Stephenson , when he said about our Human Rights Commission “ The Commission’s ‘must-do’ list could easily be mistaken for that of any left-wing action group. We’ve got no shortage of lefty lobby groups in New Zealand and ACT doesn’t see why taxpayers should fund an extra one ”. Todd Stephenson is a New Zealand Member of Parliament in the ACT party, which is one of the three political parties which now form our new coalition government. The above statement is part of his unreticent comments in response to the news that Human Rights Commissioner, Paul Hunt, is not going to be reappointed when his five-year warrant for the role expires in January 2024. Justice Minister, Paul Goldsmith, confirmed that a new Human Rights Commissioner will be sought, and that changes will be made to the Human Rights Commission “ in terms of the personnel ”. Although I’m not in step with ACT’s desire to completely abolish the Human Rights Commissio...
